Puttin' an A11 cam in my GY6. Do I actually need the NCY springs? I've never used them. Is there actually a difference from the stock springs other then the coating?
Just had my Hemi 212 head milled .055, running a +.020 rod with zero deck height and a .027 multilayer gasket.
I want to know whats the correct piston to valve clearance...also do i need shorter pushrods to keep proper geometry.
Thanks in advance for all input

Tried to transfer the valve seals from my BSP head over to my UT2 head and the exhaust valve stem seal dose not fit. It is not machined for it either. Do I not run one on the UT2 head?
I have the high torque version of the CL1 cam and noticed the cam card recommends only 10.5 LB valve springs. Its the hardened version. That seams pretty light. I am rethinking my build and kinda thinking of trying the GX140 springs as NR says there 16# will these run to the 6K that I am going...
Heres my build......
Arc rod
Arc flywheel "32 degree advance"
22mm round slide mikuni
Black mamba cam
Fuel pump
Staged header
2 disc 6 spring Bully clutch
Valve float is the issue, the bike goes fast dont get me wrong but i reach valve float fast as well
*My questions are*
#1...
I have a UT2 head I am working on with the valve seats for the 26mm intake and 24mm exhaust. I am going to order a 27mm intake tomorrow but am unsure how deep to have the seat honed out. I know to hone the whole seat larger but how far in to the bowl do I go? I know to machine the whole valve...
I was putting the 18lb valve springs in a predator motor and dropped the cap for the retainer. Looked every where with no luck. Even held the bike upside-down and did some shaking. Can only guess it's in the motor. Is there an easy way to check inside the motor?
I ordered a stage one kit from OldMiniBikes for a Honda gx200 and the kit came with new Honda 18lb valve springs and I thought the stock springs were already 18lb springs or am I wrong?
Just like the title says billet valve cover for your hemi head predator engine, a little pricey but looks very cool ! Ambush Racing guys are selling them on Ebay.

What's the best solution for repairing worn out valve guides in an HM100? Tecumseh manual calls for reaming the guides to an oversize and using valves with oversize stems. Those valves are no longer obtainable. I could ream out the guides and install sleeves if I could find some readily...
Just getting into the minibike Draging world. and just got me a Predator 212cc Hemi i see they have alot of different valves for this head How big of a valve could be installed with out Cutting the vavle seat and doing and mods to the head to make it fit??
I'm looking for a ported big valve shaved head with all the work professionally done and ready to use for my Tecumseh overhead valve 5.5hp (ohh55) if you have you are willing to sell private message me.
How are Tecumseh valve seats removed? I'm building a hopped up H60 and want to put oversized valves in it. It seems that Tecumseh installed one insert for both intake and exhaust instead of one for each valve. Is the seat cast in or installed like a normal seat?
im working with an H35 and the clearance between the valve stem end and the lifter ( valve lash) seems way tight .....when leak down testing I am getting a slight leak around the intake valve i cant find a clearance in the book ....but I should be at least able to get a feeler gauge in ?
