Yeah Glenn the Aspera's have a cast iron sleeve and several other upgrades over the Tecumseh's. Most people don't realize the differences...and they go for a pretty penny sometimes...

Btw, nice job on your Cafe Broncco...My TX-1D is almost done...I'll post some pics soon...

This looks so freakin cool. I've been wanting to do a cafe racer conversion to my TX1 but I've been a busy with other projects. You've got me itching to work on it again. I can't wait to see how this comes out.

quick update . i decided to try and run the clutch on the jack shaft had to change a few thing around. did some body work on the sheet metal.

now i want a cafe racer super sick are you using the scahs engine?

yup i had trouble locating adapter for the crank shaft to lengthen it it had 12mm left hand nut with a supper fine thread. i order 2 deferent ones and no luck. so that why i have the clutch on the jack shaft and the derive gear on the engine i think it should work ok.
