chain tension

im gettin tired of my block slidin back on my mounting plate. i understand that chains can stretch. how about welding a nut on the plate at the rear of the engine at the bottom (idk 1/2 inch give or take) and using a bolt as a adjustable stop? or how ab putting same size mounting bolts in the slots behind the engine?

Is the engine moving, or is the chain stretching, you've mentioned both. Yes you could do both those ideas. Either way, there is some maintenance that needs to be done on these things every so often.:thumbsup:

tis both imo the engine moves more often than the chain stretches? think some hard trail ridin vibrates/shakes engine?
