i do alot of weld here on a bunch of mini`s i use an4 1/2 " angle grinder for the big stuff to get it down to a small amount of weld and then use a small air angle sander with 2" disks too smooth out the rest the small air sander is worth it`s weight in gold i use it on everything almost everyday. the disks are flexible so you can work it around the frame tubes without grinding too much off of the frame . they are pretty cheap at harborfreight under $20.00 , great tool to have for finishing fab work and welds. :grind:

if you going to use a big grinder , the finer the grit the better , heavy grit will scare the frame . and that will be more work finer the better !!
