vette66... basically what i did for a throttle cable. it works. i am apperantly lean at idle as it gets hot real fast, have not road it yet till i get this fixed. after reading your "settings" i will probably have to up the size on the main jet as well. the fun part!

Hey, I just got one of these carbs and I am making my own Intake for my Briggs 5hp Flathead, I have one question. The little hole at the bottom center of the carb. flange that mounts to the intake. Do I have to drill a small hole in the intake flange to let air get to that hole, or can I just cover that when I connect it to the intake? Look at post number #5, first picture to see the hole that I am talking about. Any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks, Jason
