Clutch and gearing ?

hey OldMiniBikes, i have a question :thumbsup: what would you guys do :shrug: my drag bike i built has a 60 tooth rear sprocket . that has to stay the same i ran it in the spring with a cheetah clutch by noram with a 13 tooth sprocket . that put me at 4.6 to 1 and it had great top speed but would not get out of the hole . so here is the question i now have a horstman reaper 2 disk clutch with a 12 tooth that puts me at 5to1 or a standard max torque with 10 tooth that puts me at 6to1 what should i use for 100 feet:shrug:

6:1 for short distances like only 100' . But for the 1/4 or 1/8......I run basically 13 tooth into a 58 tooth.

thanks cheezy :thumbsup: i was running 13/60 on a short run and was really starting to move just in time to stop:laugh: i could see this would be right for a longer stretch :thumbsup:

thanks e, i guess thats the plan :thumbsup:just cant believe i have all this $$$ in clutches and going to wind up using one of the cheapest you can buy :laugh: at least if i burn it up i will not feel bad :thumbsup:
