clutch problem with predator

I have a new 212 hf predator and a 3/4 clutch all brand new. The clutch came with a tony bar, I think its to hold the clutch on the shaft. My problem is it semms to long, or I am not instaliing it correctly. So can some on tell me the right way to put on my clutch

It's called a key and you need to cut it to the size you need. It locks the output shaft to your clutch inner.
