Would it work if i used just the cluch from a tourqe converter??

on my mini??

The drive clutch has to have the driven clutch with it to operate. type comet clutch in your google or yahoo search and find a cart site that sells them.There's a link to a page which explains how they work in detail.

www.cometkartsales.com They build the Comet clutches and t/c's. They have the page with the info I'm pretty sure. Or you can call them with a couple simple measurements they can tell you the size belt you need and everything.

.....You can use a torque converter clutch with just a standard pulley.
.....You just won't get the variable speed bonus.

.....but you would need the clutch for a symmetrical setup(both sides of clutch pulley angled).
