Exhaust ???

Is it possible to use copper pipe and solder it together?
I was wonder because my uncle is a plumber and I can
get some from him.

You might use some silfos 15% silver bearing solder in the joints. it takes oxygen and acetylene to get flow. The first joint or two will take most of the heat and if you try it use long sweep fittings as they are less restrictive.

I made a copper exhaust pipe for a 5hp Briggs a few years ago, just to see what would happen. It stayed in one piece for a few minutes, but then the solder closest to the block melted and the pipe just fell off.

Too bad, it was a cool tractor-style exhaust with a rain cap :evil_laughter:
