FS: New Predator 212 motor and clutch

Bought this for my sons project, but quickly realized its just too much power for him. It's been ran all of 5 minutes. Seems to run great though. Comes with a brand new max torque #35 clutch. Some minor scratches on the edge of the air filter housing.

Prefer a local sale, but will ship and split shipping cost with buyer. I have all the original packaging so it should be safe enough. I'm guessing shipping will be somewhere around $30 in the US.

Looking to get $100, not including shipping.

Did you try turning in the throttle stop screw so it doesnt go as fast?

Yeah...and while that did keep the power at a manageable level, the motor is still just too big for the Cat 250x....putting something smaller and lighter in it while he learns to ride.

stock restored briggs 2hp to trade

I have a nice restored briggs 2 hp new black paint decals the works that was what was in the cat.. I was saving it if I got another cat 250..I could trade you that with a new max torque clutch....PM I will send pictures me im in pomona and will be at sun pomona swap

Thanks for the offer, but I already purchased a replacement engine for it.
If for some reason I can't sell this one outright, I may take you up on it though.
