Got a new shop buddy.

In October we said goodbye to our dog of 16 years.
We said we wouldn't ever be able to replace Spring.
Over the past months we have missed having a companion.
So, Saturday we went to the local Animal Shelter to "look".
We were attracted to a couple of them. Well, most all of them but, ya can't take them all.
My wife was in a kennel with one of the ones that really caught our eye.
I was reading the paperwork and her name was Hope.
Now, my wife has a favorite term and that term is....you guessed it, Hope.

So, after a little bit of discussion, we decided she was the one.
We got her today from the vet.
So sweeeeeet!!!!

She is about a year old.
Not sure of the breed. The vet said maybe some Boxer and Heinz 57.
Don't know her birthing history.
Vet said she was in heat when she fixed her today.

She is so sweet!!! Leash, no problem.
We got her a kennel to hang out in but, she is real comfy just hanging out on a blaket by my chair.

Yep Eric a real good looking dog, just like her new owner.
So far, so great
Other than puking all over the carpet. Guess anesthesia and pain meds made her a little sick.

Congratulations Tom! Both of my dogs came from shelters as rescues and they are awesome. Start training her early to ride the handlebars.

Got right in her crate and heard nothing out of her.
