Handle bars too narrow

I'm restoring a Go-Devil. The handle bars are 13/16 and all I can find are 7/8. The 7/8 throttle control fits too loose. Got any ideas. If I could find a shim that won't look dorky. No tape. Anyone else have this problem . How did you fix it. John

Try some bicycle grips. :shrug:

I fixed it. Used a cabel holder. Cut it down to fit inside the throttle control. Good and tight. John
