Looks like a CLinton chainsaw header.

i got it for my 400a but it is to big

The A400/490 has the bolts on either side of the port. The chainsawa and E-65's have the bolts at the ends on the port.

clinton, tecumseh's, maybe couple more 2-cycle engines had that type of exhaust pattern,but what it bolted up to? i think someone just posted a header something like that?

it remind me of simpletom header he posted for a west bend engine,but his bolt pattern is different:doah:

The Clinton E-65 "Kart" engine is almost identical to some of the saws. If I remember right , it takes a D-35 and a D55 or 65 to build an E-65. :thumbsup:

The header in that pic is a saw header. I think the kart header doesn't have the 2 screw mounts at the end for the spark arrestor screen.
