HF 6.5 Clone Stock Compression Ratio

On the spec sheet that comes with the engine, it lists the compression ratio as 8.5 to 1. Has anyone ever verified this?

I've always wondered about this myself, because the box my HF clone came in said the same thing.

But, the guys at NR-Racing claim something different.

The spec for a clone should read 8.5 to 1 (+/- 30%) lol

Notwithstanding the poor quality control of the clones compared to the genuine Honda engines, if the deck height, gasket thickness, head cc, and piston design of the clone is the same as the Honda, then would the compression ratio not be the same as well?
