They came with a 3.5 hp tecumseh.
The one you posted has acengine swap.
They are good minis. Front and reasuspension. The seat is kinda wack. Doesn't want to stay straight.

I always thought the thunderbird would look better if you moved the shocks behind the frame.bolt them to the back of the seat to.I know its not original but I think it would look better.:shrug:

Gosh, I'd have to measure but my wife is 5-1 and she has bent knees riding it. I would guess 30 or less inches.
