Man, now you've gone and done it.... Took one of my favorite bike frames and now you're gonna go and make all scary fast and stuff.... I can't WAIT for the finished product! Looks like it's moving along fast too! Go man, GO!

Gotta a few tricks up my sleeve!! Of course TANK being a tuff one(gonna use plastic one,temporaily) till I figure it out? simple gauges,RPM,SPEEDO and HEAD TEMP. Awaiting part's ordered(switched to #35 chain) 60t,66t,72t rear sprockets,tensionor. Gonna start out w/BULLY (4 spring) clutch (race set up) and also set up (while I'm there, fabin/set up) for TAV. Frame is supposed to be finished painted TODAY?? Still need to fab up header since MURRAY/ANIMAL not common SWAP and no MFG./READY MADE ONE'S out there. MY PLAN, is to TEST this weekend!!!!!!!

4. Sandblast/prep/paint

Back to step 4., Today(11/2/2011 11:30 a.m. in primer! Will FINISH PAINT @ BOUT 3:00 P.M. PRIMER & PAINT, using a 2 part pollyurethane, spraying w/electrostatic gun. My brother own's a Patio Shop (refurbishes outdoor furniture) and has been using this paint for a long time, he say's as good if not better than Powder Coating!!!??

Tell us more about the paint. Better than P.C.? Just curious. If it obvious then just ignore. I'll Google it.
2 part pollyurethane (ameron?(spelling?) DuPont product has a hardner you gotta add to the paint, to make it cure. Electrostatic Spraying, uses a electrical current(ground item being painted) going from gun to the unit. It basicly wraps the spray(around a tube/sq. tubing) t o make a smooth uniform coverage.

Yeah,Imron really good stuff. You don't have to use Electrostatic spray gun(he use's it to cut down,overspray/wasted product/cost). The Powder Coat girl wanted $50.00 to do it, My Bro.( zero $) so it was a GIMME...LOL He mostly paints allumin tube,some steel and gob's of cast iron. Cast Iron the worst stuff to paint, but after 30yrs. expertice, he swear's by using OSPHO(1ST) AFTER SANDBLASTING,PRIME(2 PART PRIMER) and then final coat w/Imron, it will hold up as good as,if not better than Powder Coating.

i thought I saw an electric start on it but it could be something in the background but I can see now its not sporting the near 90 deg intake its hard for me to see on my little iphone:laugh:

It is electric start,remember I'm disabled,so I need all the help I can get. Yes,animal intake(home made) looks stock but not(WF carb)!

8.prime/paint

2 problem's already!!!!!!! Head set did not fit(properly),use combo of old and new(now works) Any torque specs on these???? New stainless steel axle (rear) did not fit???, front one fine? Any torque specs on these??? So far(today) ........ may feel better in a couple hrs. and set motor in place? Very happy ....so far.
