That is a model 14 briggs. They were made from '48 to '66. The old ones were only rated 5hp but later upgraded to 6hp. Use same parts as 7hp and 8hp briggs except for Piston and head gasket.

Luckily I found a local source that has a good stock of NOS parts. New valves, Piston,gaskets and ignition parts. Sould run like brand new!
