Just got bit by the Minibike Bug..

I'm new here, name is Bumblebee2, AKA John...

I just got bit by the Minibike bug..so I have 23 motorcycles, why not make the 24th a minibike. This is what I have, an eBay find. It was local, and it's look caught my eye.



Any idea what it was before it was modified? Runs and rides great.

It looks like it's geared to climb walls.

And will it. With that torquey Predator 212cc engine it's also a wheelie monster. An I don't mean that in a good way. Just a little too much gas as the clutch in engaging an you'll be stepping off real fast. With the gearing as it is it's top speed as checked with my GPS is just a little under 20 MPH at 3600 RPM. I haven't bypasses the governor just yet - but soon. I also need to change the rear sprocket to 5 or 10 teeth smaller, this would help with the unintentional wheelies. The engine has the power.

Yup Buckeye, it started out life as a Flexo. Found several photos here on this BB..no mistake, that's it. After loosing the 2 HP Clinton and making space for something more fun, what you see it what it is. It's surprising how much of it's left though.
