I secured the frame to a piece of plywood and made a fixture to hole the forks in place. This should help line everything up when I replace the neck tube.
Got a few hours of work done on the frame today. I cut the old neck off and there was a hole in the frame :hammer: Also the other side had a crack that I drilled and welded.
I cut the old seat brackets off and welded a new one on. I also filled a flat spot in the frame with weld and smoothed it out. I had to redo some welds on the engine plate also. :grind:
Well I have to make trip to the powder coat guy to drop stuff off for my 67 C10 so I think I'm gonna go a head and get this done up also. I'm thinking a gold metallic or gold hammer-tone as the original color was gold. But it could end up a Marina Blue something like the GM cars of the 60's
