I secured the frame to a piece of plywood and made a fixture to hole the forks in place. This should help line everything up when I replace the neck tube.

My shipment came today :thumbsup: I'm upgrading the neck to 1-1/8" tube instead of the 7/8" tube that's currently on the frame.

Got a few hours of work done on the frame today. I cut the old neck off and there was a hole in the frame :hammer: Also the other side had a crack that I drilled and welded.

I cut the old seat brackets off and welded a new one on. I also filled a flat spot in the frame with weld and smoothed it out. I had to redo some welds on the engine plate also. :grind:

I replaced the foot peg bar. I just hit the bare metal with some spray paint that was laying around.

Well I have to make trip to the powder coat guy to drop stuff off for my 67 C10 so I think I'm gonna go a head and get this done up also. I'm thinking a gold metallic or gold hammer-tone as the original color was gold. But it could end up a Marina Blue something like the GM cars of the 60's :shrug:

I dropped the wheels and brake calipers off to get freshened up yesterday.

Must be nice to have access to metal refinishers and the like.
Bike will be better than new Nate.

And, Marina Blue is in my future.
