It does seem crazy to me as well, it didn't even have the NAPCO 4X4 conversion that came out in 51. The 1951 Convertible Chevy that Pawn Stars got was valued for insurance at $45k which if I remember is what they paid for it brought $88k at auction. It was much more desirable as far as vehicles IMO and only brought roughly twice the appraised value. The truck is maybe a 25-30k rig if you or I had owned it so the final price was crazy high to me. Even if it had been a NAPCO conversion it would up the value 5-10k at most without the fame factor. One selling point seemed to be that an infirmed McQueen had taken his last ride in the truck, that does nothing for me but bum me out to know that fact.
