Murray Track 2 info

#1
Was just gifted a Track 2 that has been sitting for at least 6 years. Swapped the carburetor and it fired right up. Spent some time tightening brakes and throttle lines. Had to order a new air filter and cartridge as they were completely gone. Should be here in a few days.

What else can I do to the stock engine to make this baby run smooth and fast? Any governors I can adjust? Easy adjustments?

I’m new to the mini bike world and have net done a crazy amount of small engine work. My son and I have been getting it fixed up together.

not much option for the old tecumseh engines these days. Parts are around but not like before. A few members here build some bad ass ones.

If you don’t want to food around building an engine grab a Ducar

Throw a stage 1 kit on it and ride her.

you can go away from the clutch and grab a TAV 30 CVT and wake up low end and torque quit a bit.
