Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this thread but I don't post here enough!!! Anyways...I need a chin idler gear but no one around me sells them if anyone knows where online I can get one with everything I need to apply it that would be great or I would be glad to buy one from someone that has extras...

Hey LJ; I know you from 4cycle. Anyway, I got my idler gear from these guys below. I made a bracket for mine out of a pipe repair clamp. Not sure if it will work for your bike, but it's cheap if you can get away with it. Edit: i see you already have a tensioner mount I think; so maybe you just need to bolt on the idler..

Doesn't change gear ratio; just keeps the chain from slapping and falling off.

That's a good idea too. I happened to have this in the garage from another idea I had. Thing is, the rubber is real sticky and this thing is not moving; the length helps. I suppose you could line the bike clamp too. I like it.
