Need to make or find original brakes

I have a 1965 lil Indian not sure on model and or how original it is frame is nice and now beat up some of the old weld do need gone over with that said. I need to figure out the braking system. Is the aftermarket if I buy different wheels?
is there availability for the original rear brake caliber? Do the clutch brake actually work? This is for my son who has not experienced anything like this until I married his mother has to be safe.

Go with the band brake, they work excellent when installed correctly. You can put a Wanted ad if you want the original lil Indian wheels and have the time to wait till you find some.

Just put universal wheels and tires of your choice from Hent.com and you'll be rolling in no time.

If you find a original disc brake, expect to pay around 300.00. like said above, a band brake works great.

Clutch brakes work great. Only downfall is if you lose the chain you also lose all your brakes except tennis shoe brakes.

My friend makes the repop clutch guard if you need one. They are very nice fiberglass and you can't even tell it is a repop unless you touch it. Lol
