Hey all! Just signed up here, looks like a good place for resources for the bike I just acquired. Co-worker just gave me an Arctic Cat SSSCat, 1970 vintage that was running at one time. No spark ATM, but looks like the copper wound coil (actual part name escapes me right now) has a break. Also had to weld/repair the rewind pawls, but seems OK now. Not a resto, just a toy for my son to run around on 'till he grows out of it.
Into old and new Kaws. 2 1978 KZs, a 650 (rider) and a 1000 (project), and an '03 ZRX1200R. Considering a KLR.
Parts for this seem few and far between, especially the rewinds :smile:. This is an 50/MA ABE X/47/70 with the Bing carb. Service manuals also seem to be scarce. Another "E-bay is your friend" project...
