you are mistaken. Two strokes most certainly can be tagged and ridden on the road. Street legality depends on accessories and paper work. I have a licensed street legal two stroke Yamaha.

Back in the late 80s my brother had a 77 RD400, expantion chambers and jetting, it was a very snappy machine that would give bikes twice it's size a run for their money, once you were into the powerband....Hang on!........Completely street legal too............Tom.

Thought since they were outlawed by GOV that they were also not street legal anymore . My bad :shrug:

No of course not you can still buy 2 stroke bikes new there just hard to find altho with the new direct injection tech they are cleaner sad that honda just gave up but yamaha and others are still pushing 2 strokes
