just found and joined this site. Stumbled on this place searching for parts and info on a couple of projects my students and I are currently building.
One project is a Rupp Rat that we stretched, lowered and raked and are now preparing for a custom flake paint job
The other is an unknown mini bike that we are in the process of lowering and stretching. Plan to post pictures soon and have found a lot of good info so far from this place

thanks

as far as students knowledge, that statement is true for some but that's what classes like mine are for. Some of you may be surprised that I have many that work on stuff at home like many of us did growing up.

I was at a school district one time selling them just about every metal working tool Baileigh Industrial makes and the head dude in the metal trades department had to excuse himself from our conversation to escort some unruly youths to the head office......looked like a zoo in there.

It's good when they actually want to learn something.

Jasper, yeah, those boys hit shop class for sure.

Ya'll haven't lived until you been to Jasper, Alabama.

I use to live across the lake in Cullman.
There is a old story that if you needed someone "taken care of" all you needed to do is write their name on a sheet of paper, put it in the "old tree stump" with a few dollars and that person would get taken care of. Broken legs, lump of the head, ect..
Jasper is quite the town.
I remember one time getting called in the the ER for a hand injury.
Sure was. Guy blew his hand off trying to blow up a bridge.
Yep, Walker County Alabama..
