I came across this Power Products motor today. I figured it would at least be good for a "conversation piece". It was pretty darn cheap (IMO), so it comes home....:laugh:

I will post the numbers on it in the next couple days. If any one has info about it, please post it. Thanks

I have 2 red vertical shaft power products that otherwise looks very similar to yours. Both of mine have Tillotson carbs, am guessing yours would too. I know the company was later bought out by Tecumseh. Apparently some Power Products engines were great for kart racing.

I think they're about 2-1/2 hp. I was told they are very comparable to the little Clinton A400. Neat little engine..

Hey Wayne, on the "Motor Bookstore.com" website they have a small engine manual that covers that motor and other air cooled motors. P/N of the book is PE-SES17 costs $27.25. You may not want the book but I thought you'd like a heads up about it.
