predator 212 electric start

has anyone added the electric start kit to one? i have my billet flywheels out to be machines to add the ring gear just wondered if it had been done before.

I put a electric start on my hemi 212cc engine but had to change flywheel and crankshaft to a honda gx200 so that the electric start flywheel would match the taper on the crankshaft. The predator crank taper is different than the honda gx crank taper. But you may be alright , just bolt on the starter and see how the starter drive matches up to the flywheel ring gear on your billet flywheel.

yeah im hopeing it lines up and not have to shim the starter too much

I put a starter ring on my PVL flywheel. I have it on a GX200 though but I imagine it would be the same. The starter lines up fine. The gear on the starter is pretty wide so you would have to be pretty far off for it not to engage.
