Rupp Roadster Torque Converter and HS40 crankshaft length

The original HS40 engines on these bikes had the longer 3" PTO end on the crankshaft to accommodate the TC driver. Has anyone ever used a "regular" HS40 with the 2.25" PTO end and converted/modified it to work with the TC driver? Do you fabricate and add some sort of spacer on the end of the crank? I would be very interested and appreciative on how you did it.:smile:

I've used a 3/4 " tq shaft with keyway cut off a piece to correct length and drilled it out to 5/16hts used it as a spacer to take up the empty space.
