If they are tight, you won't like this job Brian! Make sure you have a good strap wrench and read KustomKartKids tutorial. If you do it wrong, you'll waste the tubes. They crush quite easily.

Yeah I just read that tutorial. I am ready! I even have the same strap wrench as KustomKid's Grand Pappy! So this simply cannot go wrong.

I just took apart 2 sets of these this week. I used ArcticMiniBike's method. I used a small ball-ping hammer to tap around the tube where it meets the lower eyelet. It breaks the corrosion in the threads. It takes a while, but it does make it easier to break them loose. Then, I used the strap wrench with a long screw driver laced through the eyelet.
