Sears Spyder?

hi all - new guy here. Looking for my first project mini. Have a local guy who will trade a Sears Spyder for one of my more rare muscle bicycles (an amf avenger 1 speed long boy). Do any of you have any pictures of a complete and correct Sears Spyder that you would consider sharing? based on what I am hearing it looks similar to a ruttman? pointed gas tank, pointed seat, bicycle style handle bars, etc...also, if any of you have a more-or-less correct mini (off brand, department store) in the Lancaster, PA area that you would like to sell, please let me know -- thanks so much! chris

The Spyder AKA Bird "Lark".

Are the forks longer on the Spyder. I just got a Lark the other day. The main difference I see is the taller sissy bar on the Spyder, and maybe longer forks and bigger fenders. May have to make mine a Spyder.

on a good day the bicycle is worth about $300 -- any of you guys ready to sell a project? -- want to be able to rebuild the engine as well as everything else -- thanks to all of you! ch

The Spyder Bird should be worth $300 as a runner considering no shipping involved. Or if it's super nice and needs engine work.
