TAV2 on a predator engine driver question (part 2)

I mounted my tav2 on my predator 212 with the 9/16 spacer, but the outer half of the driver is only on the shaft by probably an inch? maybe a little less. Is that enough? It seems like that's on the verge of too little shaft to hold onto.

I always make a spacer to fit inside out of some 3/4 jack shaft with a hole bored through it :thumbsup: I drill the hole and face the ends on the lathe at work, I can make you one if you want :thumbsup:

I have lathe access, and some leftover 3/4" around here. The only reason I didn't make one because I didn't think it would carry any torque since it's not connected (and it doesn't), but I guess it keeps it from bending and provides extra rigidity. Thanks for the solution!
