tec 3.5hp id help

I have a 3.5hp tecumseh that i need a connecting rod for and ordered one from mfgsupply.com and they sent the wrong size. The bore for the cranksaft on the connecting rod was too small, my crank has 1" bore. I need to know if anyone could find out what model this is or knows how to locate the right rod.

if you could find the model number on the shroud I can tell you the exact part you need.

Jeff I can sell you a whole good running tec3.5 HP motor for 25 dollars you pay shipping. it has the side exhaust on it and provisions for elect start but all the parts will interchange between the two.

What rod did MFG supply send you, Was it a original Tecumseh part. or was it a Rotary,Stens or other Chinese made crap.
Your engine looks like a newer engine because of the electronic ignition coil above the flywheel. Late 80's 90's probably.Tecumseh used points for a long time before switching over to the electronic ignition.
I,m not sure if the rod size change for the older to newer engines.

I dont know the exact numbers for your 3.5 but this is the rod for mine.
