trash find go kart

the other day on my way to work at 5:30am i found this little gem by someones trash with a free sign on it. put gas in it and it fired right up but could use a carb cleaning. i was happier than a kid on Christmas. haven't tried to ride it yet because the drive tire is shot but i picked one up today. if anybody has any info about it as far as year and make that would be cool.

Cheezy1 is the fiberglass kart body guy around here. I had a couple of them, one Indy style and one truck. I believe the truck was a Carter, not sure about the Indy but they had many similarities as far as the frame. I would dare say it's a Carter built machine.
