I had some spare time today due to the rain. Here's something that
I did save a little money, and I like building things from stuff laying
around my shop. My homemade vent tube breather filter.
Step 1 -
Find a party popper.
Step 2 -
Take it appart, DO NOT PULL THE STRING! It will have
gun powder residue in it if you pull the string.
Step 3 -
Find a clean 3M sanding pad and cut 3 or 4 pieces the
size of the piece of cardboard that held the streamers in.
Step 4 -
Cut a small piece of cotton a little bigger than the sanding
pads, and place it in the popper body first.
Step 5 -
Place the sanding pads in on top of the cotton.
Step 6 -
Cut the end off of the popper body. Than blow in the hole
to see if the air will flow. If it does not flow freely, push a
small screwdriver against the cotton lightly, and blow
again. Do this until it flows freely.
Step 7 -
You don't have to do this. But, I had some stainless
steel sheet with alot of holes in it. So I cut a end piece.
This is how it looks after I stuck it up in the breather tube, and secured
it with a tie wrap.
