I think every T555 I have seen has been painted. Even the green one I have had paint on it..

Truckasaurus has an orange one.
I have a Blue one.
DarthDaddy has a red one.
My buddy Tony has a Black one.
I am thinking of doing the one I am working on something different. Maybe a Stars and Stripes or just a polka dot scheme...
