What engine is this?

Alright I bought this mini bike from someone and he had no idea on the engine specs and it has no model #s or anything on it so maybe someone will know.

It's looks to about 8hp, I almost bought one about that size but like I said earlier it's hard to tell.

It's an H50, H60, or H70 - most likely an H70 though. Basically the same block as the old Tecumseh Star racing engine (although it had the H50 specs). Great engine!

Any idea what the specs are horsepower wise?

take a look on top of the cover and see if there is any numbers stamp into it:thumbsup:
for example h70=7hp,h60=6hp..etc......

Didnt see any h50, h60 or h70 but on the side near my clutch I found 19080

This is a really dumb question but is my engine flat head or over head valve engine?

Almost all ohv engines slant on an angle, But every one of them will have a bulging cover in the head the will say "OHV".


All flat heads look basically just like your engine.

Sorry, I can't help. I can't tell the differences in engine sizes unless it's stamped with an "H30, H40 or H50".

But what kind of MiniBike frame is the engine setting in? Just curious. Thanks.

It is a custom made frame as I was told from the seller. He said he had a guy custom make it for him and never asked the guy the engine size or anything so I guess im clueless and he said everthing was custom made.

Thanks, I was just curious because from the sections of the frame I can see; I think it's a good looking frame.
