What's the fastest you've ever went on your mini bike? For me it was 53 on my doodle bully.

I have been around 80 on the Daytona Bonanza . That was with a 134.1 final drive . Now it has a 167.1 and i know she will pull more RPM's in high gear which means more speed .

Fastest documented speed...and the fastest I would take it too...73mph. That was too sketchy on such a small frame. Oh..and no brakes at the time ut:

Not really a minibike, but a motorized bicycle. Huffy beach cruiser, 42mph. 48cc China Girl kit.

There was a bit of work done to the engine before that though. Frankly, 42mph (GPS verified) was more than enough for me on skinny little bicycle tires & coaster brakes.

(It was really cool confusing the everloving hell out of people though, lol).

I guess I had that Taco up to about 40 in traffic. You'll see it one day, since JB actually owns it now. :wink:

38 on a Manco Fat Cat was plenty fast with those big balloon tires, it was all over the road. And like fatguy, I'm not the smallest of guys, could of got ugly.

Too hard to read the tach and not have an accident.

Believe it or not, it's actually really terrifying. Past 25mph, those coaster brakes really, really don't work at all.


And I think I may just be the first person in history to actually smell burning coaster brakes. :wink:
