Figured this would be appropriate for the engine section. Kind of a "what to avoid" thread for some of the less knowledgeable or newer members here.
So: what was the worst small engine you had, and why? Reliability, durability, etc.
I had a brand new #35 chain ready to go on Momas Windber bike and this is the end result that made me say.........S.O.B!!!:censure:

I know alot of talent is on this site and I'd like to see some of the things you guys have made.

I was on my way to my friend Rob's yesterday - I found a DB-30 virtually brand new for $100 and he and I were going to go pick it up for his young son - when this pulled up next to me! This is a quick picture i took with my phone! Check out the wheel base!!
I've tuned my carb to what I believe is correct. I got a good plug reading, I hear no backfiring, and it runs fine.
How can I be sure that it is tuned to the best possible? Any tips from people who are good at it?
