Where to get keyed axle

What sites sell 1 solid live axle with a 1/4inch keyway running it's length? I need some for an axle but google seems to not bring up anything.

Too bad you are in the UK, I have a 18" long piece of 1" steel with a 1/4 keyway sitting in my garage that I don't need.

Here's a metal retailer in the UK. Site says no minimum order. If they don't have what you need, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Keyed axles or shafts should be available in the UK, they are used in many types of machinery not just minibikes and Go-karts. I'd check around before paying international rates!:thumbsup:

Cotmullion check with the iron mongers i think it the term . metal supply shops can or will have the stuff you need .also scrap yards may have some new metal on hand or sell you a piece of shafting out of some junk thing the size you need .
