Thought I would try kbrockets Whitewall trick.
Cleaned the tire with some acetone.
Wiped her clean with a clean lint free cloth.
White Scuff Shoe Polish.
Two coats as it sits.
What ya thunk? This will be going on a Manco T-Bird project.

We'll see. I think a few more coats and call it done.
With the rims and tires done like that, what color for the bike? I am leaning towards the old Chevy light blue. Kinda of metalic. Using the all white 5 hp Briggs.

Chrome Ape Hangers and chrome fenders.....
That aqua is kinda what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure it the red rims would look goofy.
The clutch cover is a 1958 Ohio licience plate. Year I was born. Daaaaaark blue.White lettering.
This is fixin to turn into a project log.

I like solid non metalllic colors with the whitewalls. One of my beetles I had always looked greenish in pics but in up close and personal it looked more baby blue. I liked it with the whitewalls and white interior:

Hey Buckeye that is going to be a great combination of colours.
You might as well do a project log , because we will all be hounding you for pictures.

I like Markuses idea , a white seat would look cool.

It isn't perfect. I never could color within the lines.
Really though, overall it is cool lookin.
Now if I can get the frame back from fork mods,I am ready to put it together. Well, paint first. Whatever color it's gonna be.

Hate to say it but it's not doing well on the Tetanus Shot. I'm wondering if sidewall flex is the culprit? It's cracking pretty badly.

Really?? That's how you did yours with white shoe polish?
That isn't good news. Guess, I can just put it together and look at it.
