Hey, We really want pictures. I've been thinking about putting a set of apes on my Thunderbird too. Let me know where you got yours, and how they work out.

As soon as I get the frame back, I will start.a build thread.

Got them off Amazon from I think New York cycle works. Like 14 bucks. You still have that seat??

I saw that befor. And one of the Michigan guys used white roof sealer.
Hell, I figured if a rocket scientist recommends it, I had to try it.
Plus I am cheap. We'll see.

Thought I would try kbrockets Whitewall trick.
Cleaned the tire with some acetone.
Wiped her clean with a clean lint free cloth.
White Scuff Shoe Polish.
Two coats as it sits.
What ya thunk? This will be going on a Manco T-Bird project.
Looks great Buckeye. I just have one question about using shoe polish, does it come off if you touch it? or does it dry white?

It's white shoe polish. I have had my fingers all over it now that it's dry and looks good. Guess we will see if it ever finds it's home.

Ten four on the ultra cool, leather, extremely rare, hard to find, vintage brown seat. Is that the one you are talking about? I'll check out the apes. Thanks. Will this Man Company be ready for Winber?

Update, nothing has changed and still not on a bike.
Next weekend should have the frame back and test them out.
More updates to follow.

About 8-10 hours of riding in the yard and street.
No cracking of discoloration.
I would say experiment was a success.
