I found on Craigslist,a March 1970 Honda Trail CT70. I bought it for 40 bucks thinking that if it won't run,I'll part it out and at least get some money for another project.
Here it is. Dirty and sun burnt. The engine is encrusted with 45 years worth of NM dust and old oil. The engine guard...
Search engine locks up when I try to do a topic search.
I see that the Lifan company offers engines to upgrade the Honda Trail 70 ( CT70). Has anyone here done this and which engine would you recommend?
I bought the bike with a damaged gear box for almost nothing and was thinking it might be...
Runs and drives but no time to work on it or even take pics. Closing on the new house Friday and lots to do to get the new one ready to move in. The old one ready to sell or rent. Even though it is just behind the house I'm in now. I had to hide the new bike from the wife. Picked it up and...

Got a question for you guys. I have a 77' CT70 and it doesn't have an ignition switch. It's impossible to find a NOS ignition with a key for this year. Can any other year ignition switch fit on this bike? The connector looks the same on one that claims that fits a K1-76'. If the wiring harnesses...
Not sure how little I can get away with doing to this to get it on the road while I restore my other one. But we will see...
Too cold today to ride....lol
