I just bought a MTD mini bike and the lower tubes on the front forks have a lot of slop in them. I took the two bolts out that go through the top of the springs and pulled everything out. Is there supposed to be a spacer or a sleeve between the inner and out tube to remove the slop?

bought this from a guy who had it since he was a kid. Fired right up so I gave it the rusto-special. Now im curious, what is it?

Hi there. I've been thinking of getting a used Baja DB30 or monster moto mini bike but I always disliked the way these bikes handled in the turns and at high speed. I think it's to do with the fact that the front fork has no offset between the fork tubes and the centre of the steering axis...
