Howdy all. I am Jim from Arizona. 60 year old guy with a few metal and wrench skills. As a pup I had a Tote Gote and remember going everywhere with it. I keep thinking I need a new version for general trail riding and maybe dragging a deer or elk back to camp. Some would say a quad would be an...

Well after getting my other minibike running with the turbo, i've decided to make a new frame and change the style a little , since the old frame was made for a GX160 and i have a EFI Turbo GX390 in it, i can see it flexing so im going to make a new frame for it Below is how the old bike...
Well looking through my friends 1975 Ruttman catalog I thought it would be cool to bend up a couple of frames. So inthe process of tooling up for the job all the specs are there except tubing diameter. So anyone know the tubing diameter, or do you think 1" is too thick or heavy?
here's an early Christmas present
for all the little gremmies out there!
here's how to make hubs any size or width
you get heavy duty roller bearings
and get aluminum tube stock thick wall
and get 1/8" alum plate for spoke, sprocket
and brake flanges
take it down to local machine shop and
you...
this construction is going to be more
like a 60's go kart than anything else
just hard to do IRS with lawn mower engine
could someone describe mounting points for
Porsche/VW 914 2.0 engine with manual transmission?
Thought I would share a pic. of my first pass duplicating an Lil Indian Mini-Matic 2 speed mount. A member mailed me a year or so ago some dimensions to work from. I think the mounting plate is too thick. Don't really know, and my welds need to be a little cleaner on the next one. A goo start I...
Based on a '65' Taco 99 bolt together minibike with the West Bend 820 series engine. This mini was built with thicker tubing(.093") instead of the thinner wall tubing. This is the same thickness as the forks. Has the one sided adjustable jackshaft,Mercury clutch(OEM for the 820 models, engages at...
I've decided the junk 8hp briggs flathead I bought is in pretty bad shape and probably not worth trying to find a crank and rod for it. Cracks in both sides of the block, bent exhaust valve, ruined crank/rod, nicked up intake cam lobe... So I'm going to use it for my exposed crank project I've...
Gotta move on. This assembly was George Kaplans first REPLICA 55 that I bought years ago.I opened up the motor mount slots to fit the larger West Bend 820 engine, and opened up the larger crankshaft hole as well. It has the jackshaft and bearings, sprockets, rear REPLICA Taco 44 shocks, and the fork...
I want to build a Powell Challenger replica but I would like some measurements from a frame and I also need the width of the frame at the widest point.
