Rear Taco shock has no apparant snap ring, or split collar design on the spring retainer. Are these shocks rebuildable, or can they be taken apart for paint and chrome? I am not talking about...

I bought some shocks for my ram build out of Nebraska. Omaha I believe and I cannot think of the place ingot them...they were 10 bucks a piece and adjustable...12 inches long....anyone have any idea?
Hey guys quick ? If i replace the springs on there rear of my bonanza will this sovle them from bottoming out they are the original. I put it on hold due to my unexpected surgery

Have rust and some chain rash on the sprocket side, they are straight, work good, springs are good, included is the stepped bolts for the tops and the reducer spacer for the bottom which bolts to the axle. Off a 1970 trail tramp.

I swapped out the oil in my shocks to a 75w gear oil, with the thinking that 75w would be thicker, and therefor harder. But the front end still dives pretty freely under braking/bumps. I have some 5w fork oil, would that help? Or does it's extreme squishness mean that the seals are gone or...
Some old beat-up shocks. They have some good parts. Might be from a rupp:out: $2.00 + $11.35 usps medium flat rate box. Just want to get rid of them:wink:

I am gathering the parts together for a Rupp Digger. I have 1 shock the type with the spring in the tube and I need a gas tank. Good tank cost a arm and a leg so I'll take any thing that I can beat back into life if it will work I have a lot of stuff that i can trade and have several MB frames...
