1962 Columbus Discoverer I picked up last weekend.

Yes, it is. I compared the front sticker and clutch cover wear and it's the same bike. I didn't pay anywhere near what they were asking back then.

It looks to be all original. The paint matches the engine paint and has pin striping that looks original as well.

The brake is a drum hidden behind the sprocket with a large band going around it.

Cool looking bike but one sic jump and that thing will fold like a taco shell so it must have lived a pampered life.
