The Timp Trail Riders organized Tote Gote Races all over the west. They also organized the National Trail Scooter Association which sanctioned the races.

I think the National Trail Scooter Association faded away with the solid wheel scooters in the mid 70's

That's too bad. Someone needs to revive it and at least have a few organized rides in various scenic parts of the country. Maybe a National Vintage Trail Scooter Association.

A guy who used to be on here attempted that. (Bullhead) He got disgusted and left. Not sure what he's up to now days. Nearby, but I've never met him.

At this years Gotefest, Rod Nelson brought a jersey and jacket worn by his dad, Stan Nelson. These were made for all of the Timp Trail Riders to wear at the races. The jersey has Tote Gote on back, Stans name on the front and the National Trailscooter Association patch on the sleeve. Rod brought 2 Model 600 gotes in his truck.
