3/8" ID x 1 3/8" OD bearing source

[1967 Tempest]

Looking for the bearing size of 3/8" ID x 1 3/8" OD for Fox Sprite. I would rather NOT cut or drill the forks out for this.

I have been looking for the past two hours. I might be easier to drill the forks and the rear to 1/2" and just get 1/2 inch hardware. Better availability.

I saw another post where a guy had to drill out to 1/2" too.

This. Just find a 5/8OD 3/8ID bushing. Then use 5/8" bearings

They aint cheap and the shipping is pretty steep. I think I am going to go with the sleeve option.

Cheaper and the bearings are much more available.

I guess the bushing idea was a good one afterall. I just sold a set of Fox wheels to Iron Honky -- Now I'm worried that my frame isn't going to be an easy sell without the wheels.

Yeah the wheels are great! But the frame is 3/8 so I will take pix of the build when I get all of the parts. I ordered bushings and earrings etc.. So more to come.:hammer:

You buy the Fox Sprite?
This needs to go between the bearings inside the hub.
It allows for standard bearings and the 3/8" axle to do through it.
