Hi guys,
Great thread.
Bay area, is that the chicken coop Powell?
My clutch assy. appears to me to be just like the 117-5 bike. Minus the chrome of course. I have no belt so would be very interested to have the number off the belt in the picture.
About those early 3 then 2 digit numbers. I know they get larger as they go but you would think that they mean something. Some kind of a serial number or dating methold of some kind. I have no idea what but logic would tell you there was some ryme or reason to it. Then again maybe not.:shrug:

I'd love to see a few detail pictures of how the motor mounts..
As you can see someone has modified 154-24 and will be one of the many things correct on this gem.
Appreciate all your input.
Your bike is an amazing piece of Powell history.
